BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The week changed. The opponent changed. But the problems remained the same.
Once again, Indiana (4-5, 0-5) was competitive in the fourth quarter Saturday against No. 10 Iowa. But once again, they allowed the Hawkeyes (9-0, 5-0) to pull away in the closing stages of the game to win 35-27.
The fourth quarter continues to be a problem for the Hoosiers. The loss is IU's third against a top-10 opponent this season.
Indiana certainly had its chances, pulling within 21-0 with 13:22 remaining in the fourth quarter before the Hawkeyes scored 14 unanswered points to lead 35-20 with just over six minutes left.
