From time to time history repeats itself. Hoosier fans have seen this time and time again with the football team, but it was the men’s soccer team repeating history in a much more positive way on Friday night.
Just as they did in 2017, IU (7-1, 1-0 Big Ten) dominated Evansville (1-4-3) on the pitch behind an offensive explosion.
It didn’t take long for the Hoosiers to get out front. In the 13th minute Andrew Gutman found himself on the end of a cross from Griffin Dorsey, tapping it into an empty net for his team-leading sixth goal of the season.
