Indiana women’s basketball has received a 9-seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament and will face 8-seed Utah in the Columbia, South Carolina pod of the Birmingham Regional.
It’s the sixth consecutive March Madness appearance for the program, an excellent streak of reaching the postseason for head coach Teri Moren. The Hoosiers are set to take on the Utes on Friday with the winner advancing to face No. 1-seed South Carolina, who will in all likelihood win their game against 16-seed Tennessee Tech.
Indiana has had to undergo a period of adjustment following the departure of the program’s all-time leading scorer in Mackenzie Holmes.
