The Indiana women’s basketball 2025 recruiting class gained national recognition when commits Nevaeh Caffey and Maya Makalusky were both named McDonald’s All-American West nominees earlier this week.
Caffey, a 5-10 guard out of Warrenton, Missouri, is in the midst of her senior season at Incarnate Word Academy in suburban St. Louis. A ridiculous 101-0 as a high school player, Caffey has three Missouri state titles and a Class 6 Player of the Year award to her name.
Makalusky, a 6-3 wing from Fishers, is finishing up her high school career at Hamilton Southeastern. The state’s top overall recruit was recently named Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Classic tournament MVP after dropping an event-high 35 points in the semifinals.
