Indiana Women’s Basketball Makes First Tourney Since 2002

A day after the men’s team learned its postseason fate, the Indiana women’s basketball team found out it would be dancing for the fifth time and just the first time since 2002. The Hoosiers earned the ninth seed in the Lexington Region, and will tip off against the eighth-seeded Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday at 9 pm ET in South Bend, Indiana. Should the Hoosiers win, they would likely face top-seeded Notre Dame on the Fighting Irish’s home court.
