Fans who attended Assembly Hall for Indiana’s 71-58 WNIT victory over Ball State last night certainly got good value out of their ticket.
Only hours after Indiana announced it had parted ways with men’s head coach Tom Crean, the women’s team took the court at the valuable Assembly Hall to host its first-round WNIT game against Ball State. The women made sure that the Assembly Hall was not devalued, with a 13-point victory over in-state opponent Ball State.
The Hoosiers were led by Tyra Buss’s 19 valuable points. Also contributing great value to the team were Amanda Cahill with 16 points, and Alexis Gassion with 14.
