PALM COAST, Fla. – Indiana men's golf earned the Big Ten Match Play Championship title on Saturday, coming back to defeat Iowa in the final, 3-2. It marks the first Big Ten Match Play title for the Hoosiers since 2009, which was the first year of the event.
The Hoosiers defeated Wisconsin, 3.5-1.5, in the morning semifinal. Against Iowa, the Hawkeyes led as much as 3.5-1.5 with just a few holes to play before the Hoosiers stormed back. Locked at a 2-2 stalemate, Mitch Davis sealed the victory for Indiana on No. 18, winning 1UP.
