Indiana followed up a huge home win against North Carolina with a simple, no-frills butt-kicking of SIU-Edwardsville, by a score of 83-60. Let’s get to the Three Things.
Effort, effort, effort
After a big win you might worry about a letdown, and when IU started out 0-for-7 from the field, I have to admit that I started having flashbacks to Fort Wayne for a moment or two. But the Hoosiers only gave up 4 points during that stretch, and after Zach McRoberts hit a three and James Blackmon, Jr. hit a couple of free throws that lead was history, and IU quickly jumped out front after that.
