No. 16 Indiana will attempt to stay unbeaten without a major piece of the team's offense.
Hoosiers starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke has been ruled out indefinitely due to a thumb injury, the team announced Sunday (via Nicole Auerbach of NBC Sports).
ESPN's Pete Thamel first reported the quarterback was unlikely to play in the team's upcoming game against Washington.
Rourke sustained the injury in the second quarter of Indiana's 56-7 win over Nebraska on Saturday, staying in the game until halftime. He wasn't able to take the field in the second half, though.
