WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Indiana men's basketball team (18-12, 9-11 B1G) pushed the No. 8/9 Purdue Boilermakers (25-6, 14-6 B1G) to the brink on Saturday afternoon, but ultimately fell by a final score of 69-67 at Mackey Arena.
Senior/junior guard Xavier Johnson led the Hoosiers with 18 points and a career-high 12 assists. The double-double marked the third of his career and first of the season.
