BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – For the 17th time in program history, the No. 5 Indiana men's soccer team (7-1-0) has been crowned Big Ten Conference champions after the cancelation of Sunday's match against the Maryland Terrapins.
The Hoosiers have won the league title in each of the last three seasons and 17 total times in the program's illustrious history. The three-peat is the first for IU since claiming nine-consecutive championships from 1996-2004.
The 2020-21 Big Ten Men's Soccer Tournament begins on Saturday, April 10, with the quarterfinals hosted by the top four seeds at campus sites.
