Indiana Men’s Soccer Tops Louisville, 2-1

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University men's soccer team ended its non-conference regular season schedule on a high note Tuesday night, beating rival Louisville, 2-1, at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington, Ind.

With the victory, Indiana improves to 8-4-2 on the season overall and to 5-1-1 in the team's last seven contests, while the Cardinals fall to 6-6-3 on the year. The Hoosiers posted a record of 7-1-1 against non-conference opponents during the 2015 regular season.

Tanner Thompson scored the game-winning goal in the 48th minute and tallied his Big Ten leading seventh assist on the team's other score to pace Indiana in the win.
