Indiana men’s basketball earned a No. 9-seed in the Big Ten Tournament is set to take on No. 8-seed Oregon in the opening game of Thursday’s session.
The two faced off on March 4 in Eugene, with Oregon emerging victorious in the closing minutes after an improbably go-ahead shot from star guard Jackson Shelstad sparked a winning effort from the Ducks.
With Indiana on the NCAA Tournament bubble, this is a game the Hoosiers oughta feel some urgency in to avoid sweating out Selection Sunday. Indiana is in the field by most projections, but could use more wins to avoid playing in Dayton.
