Indiana men’s basketball ranked in ESPN’s way-too-early top 25

Indiana men’s basketball entered into ESPN’s way-too-early top 25 college basketball teams ahead of the 2024-25 season, coming in at 18th.

Jeff Borzello praised Mike Woodson’s transfer portal work in the offseason, noting the additions of top center Oumar Ballo, dynamic guards in Myles Rice and Kanaan Carlyle, and a reliable shooter in Luke Goode.

Indiana lost a few pieces including seniors Xavier Johnson and Anthony Walker. Kel’el Ware departed for the NBA Draft, where he was selected by the Miami Heat in the first round. But key players including Malik Reneau, Mackenzie Mgbako and Trey Galloway opted to return to Bloomington.
