Indiana men’s basketball coaching search 2025: Latest updates

Related Topics: Curt Cignetti, Indiana, Mike Woodson

After four years of the Mike Woodson era in Bloomington, Indiana men’s basketball will have a new coach in the 2025-26 season.

It’s yet another coaching search in Bloomington. With the signing of Curt Cignetti for the football program not too far off in the rearview mirror, there’s reason to have faith in Indiana’s ability to get this done and find a new leader who can set the program up for success in the future.

Five different men have coached the Hoosiers on a full-time basis since the firing of Bob Knight in 2000. For a program still searching for consistent success two and a half decades later, Indiana can’t really afford to whiff on this hire a third time.
