DURHAM, N.C. – The No. 24-ranked Indiana Softball team moved to 8-0 on the year with a 3-1 win against Duke on Saturday night in day two of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The start ties the 1977 team as the second-best in program history, surpassed only by an 11-0 record in 1990.

• IU put up a pair of runs in the third inning, taking advantage of a single from sophomore and a Duke error. After freshman came in to run for Woodall, sophomore Mykayla Ferrari laid down a sacrifice bunt, but an overthrow by the Blue Devil third baseman allowed Hart to come all the way home and advanced Ferrari to second.
