In what has seemingly become a tradition in recent years, Tom Allen landed the highest-rated recruit in the program’s history on Monday in 4-star wide receiver RaShawn Williams.
Williams is rated as the 33rd-best wide receiver in the Class of 2020 and the 175th player overall in the class. By 247Sports’ rankings, Williams is the second-highest rated recruit but the highest in nearly two decades.
But the evaluation from Allen Trieu on the site is rather glowing and paints a picture of a player who could compete from day one with his comparison being former SEC standout LaQuon Treadwell.
