It has been a very difficult offseason for Tom Allen and the Indiana football program. Following one of the best seasons in program history, there seems to be more disappointment than excitement as spring practice rolls around.
Recently, Sampson James became the fourth running back and the sixth player to transfer out of the program since the beginning of 2019 season, and the fourth since the end of the season.
What was an extremely talented and deep backfield has now dwindled down to Stevie Scott and incoming freshman Tim Baldwin Jr as the two players who came to Indiana with a scholarship offer.
