Indiana Football: Three Hoosiers with NFL draft potential

The Indiana Hoosiers had just one player drafted in this year’s NFL draft. Simon Stepaniak was taken 209th overall by the Green Bay Packers. The 6’4″ guard was also the lone invitee to the combine from Indiana this draft cycle.

Indiana has one of the most talented rosters it has ever had right now and it would not be surprising to see both the number of combine invites and IU players getting drafted rising substantially in the coming years. Head Coach Tom Allen has been a great recruiter in his time leading the Hoosiers, as he’s had Indiana rising up the recruiting class rankings consistently.
