Indiana football was listed in the “receiving votes” category of the week 5 college football AP Poll, with 63 points.
That effectively puts them at 27th in the poll, behind Washington State with 67 points and No. 15 Boise State with 69. Indiana has received top-25 votes for the previous two weeks as well.
Should Indiana emerge victorious over visiting Maryland on Saturday, there’s a path to a top-25 ranking for the Hoosiers. The schedule up to this point hasn’t necessarily jumped out to national voters, but Indiana is making enough of an impression to be there.
