In the same week that the Indiana football program received news about Whop Philyor announcing his return for his senior season, news also broke of a four-year starter transferring out of the program.
According to multiple reports, Coy Cronk, a senior offensive lineman, entered the NCAA transfer portal on Wednesday.
After suffering a season-ending ankle injury in Indiana’s game against UConn in week four this season, it becomes a guessing game whether or not Cronk would use the 2019 season as a redshirt year, as new NCAA rules allows players to play in up to four games and still be eligible for a redshirt.
