10-seed Indiana Indiana’s historic 2024 season came to an end on Friday with a 27-17 loss to 7-seed Notre Dame at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana.
The game was the Hoosiers’ first postseason appearance since the Outback Bowl in 2021 and marked the program’s first-ever appearance in the College Football Playoff.
Indiana has plenty to be proud of this season. The Hoosiers re-entered the national rankings for the first time since 2021, started the Curt Cignetti era off with a bang, won back the Old Brass Spittoon with a win over Michigan State, reclaimed the Old Oaken Bucket in a 66-0 win over rival Purdue and their 11 wins are the most in program history.
