Indiana Falls to No. 4/5 Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. – Indiana Softball (9-9) dropped their final ballgame of the Wildcat Invitational at No. 4/5 Arizona (21-3) on Sunday (March 8) afternoon by a final score of 6-1. It was the finale of a five-game weekend slate that saw the Hoosiers win three out of their games.

KEY MOMENTS

  • Indiana got out of a jam in the bottom of the first inning as Arizona had runners at second and third with two away. Katie Lacefield was able to get the put-out to Annika Baez at first to end the inning.
