BLOOMINGTON, Ind.—Indiana Football capped off the regular season on Saturday afternoon against Purdue for the Old Oaken Bucket. Despite a late fourth quarter surge by the offense, the Hoosiers fell in the contest to the Boilermakers, 28-21.

Purdue was the first to strike as they scored the single touchdown of the first half to make the game 7-0. helped Indiana tie the game at 7-7 in the second quarter with an eight-yard touchdown run. The Boilermakers tacked on another touchdown to make the score 14-7 going into halftime. In the closing minutes of the third quarter, a touchdown by Purdue increased their lead to 21-7.
