Over the weekend, college basketball analytics guru Bart Torvik released updated projections for the 2024-25 season.
While Torvik’s rankings are constantly changing as roster moves are made in the offseason, the update over the weekend was more significant.
All of the movement in the rankings is listed here, but according to Bart, the projections have been updated to use BPM as the method for player projections.
Basketball Reference defines BPM as a “basketball box score-based metric that estimates a basketball player’s contribution to the team when that player is on the court.
