Per Adam Rittenberg of ESPN, Indiana is expected to announce the hire of Craig Johnson to the football coaching staff, replacing the recently departed Deland McCullough. Johnson most recently worked as a senior analyst for the University of Maryland in 2020, but has extensive NFL and college coaching experience.
Johnson first broke into the NFL with the Tennessee Titans as an offensive assistant and quality control coach for the 2000-2001 seasons, before serving as the quarterbacks coach from 2002-2009. He was then promoted to assistant head coach and running backs coach for the Titans in 2010, where he coached Chris Johnson to a 1,364 yard rushing season.
