Usually come July during the college basketball season, programs are busy looking for recruits, not trying to fill out their coaching staff, but that is exactly what the Indiana basketball program is doing.
This past week, it was announced that assistant coach Ed Schilling would be moving on from the Indiana program and exploring other opportunities, leaving an open spot on Archie Miller’s staff.
Schilling came to Indiana known for his ability to recruit. Having strong ties around the Indianapolis area, it was unknown in his two seasons if he had a huge impact in the recruitment of some to the talent that was brought in.
