It has been a long road for former Indiana basketball star freshman Romeo Langford, but on Friday night it all paid off for the Celtics’ rookie guard.
Drafted No. 14 overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, Romeo Langford recorded his first career points in the NBA as the Boston Celtics took down the Detroit Pistons 114-93. On the night, the former Indiana guard finished with six points on 3-of-8 from the field and two steals in 18 minutes.
Langford, who has spent most of the season in the G-League with the Celtics’ affiliate team, the Maine Red Claws, has been dealing with multiple injuries to kickstart his professional career.
