Armaan Franklin, part of Indiana basketball’s 2019 recruiting class, was named the City Player of the Year for Indianapolis.
The 6-foot-5 Indiana signee is averaging 23.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game for Indianapolis Cathedral, ranked eighth in Indiana’s 4A class.
Cathedral turns their attention to Lawrence North on Tuesday when they play host for the first round of their Sectional.
In addition to being named the City Player of the Year, he was on the City First team along with, Jalen Johnson (Manual), Kycia Washington (Howe), Nate Soltis (Cardinal Ritter), and Harold Bennett (Crispus Attucks).
