Announced Sunday night, Indiana’s season goes on, just not as expected back in November.
As a first seed squad in the NIT Tournament, Indiana will play St. Francis (PA) in the first round at home in Assembly Hall on Tuesday at 7pm ET. This game will also be televised on ESPN.
The other one seeds in the NIT Tournament are TCU, UNC-Greensboro, and Alabama. Indiana is two spots behind TCU from holding the highest N.E.T. ranking at 54, trailing the Horned Frog’s ranking of 52.
If the Hoosiers manage to get a win in the first round, they will potentially have the opportunity to avenge a loss from eariler this season against fifth-seeded Arkansas in the second round if they can beat fourth-seeded Providence in their first round matchup.
