It might not be much, but Indiana basketball is back into one of the two national polls, checking in at 25th in this week’s USA Today/Coaches Poll. The Hoosiers (14-3, 4-0) couldn’t quite crack the AP Top 25, but Indiana is second in the “others receiving votes” category with 59 points, just behind USC. Indiana was ranked 13th to start the season, but a slow start to the year knocked the Hoosiers out of both polls.
Thomas Bryant also had a great day. The freshman picked up his second Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor after an 18 point, 13 rebound performance against Ohio State on Sunday.
