It has been a year of inconsistencies for not only the Houston Rockets, but also for former Indiana basketball guard Eric Gordon. The 12-year vet has spent time in and out of the lineup with injury, but also up-and-down play.
On Monday night, however, all of that was forgotten as he put up a monster game. Erupting for a career-high 50 points on an incredible 14-of-22 shooting, including six made threes, and 16-of-20 from the free throw line, Gordon led the Rockets to a 126-117 win over the Utah Jazz.
In a night where the Rockets needed him to step up without both James Harden and Russell Westbrook, Gordon lived up to the call.
