The Indiana basketball program is one of the most historic programs in the country with some of college basketball’s best players coming from Bloomington.
During Bob Knight’s tenure, Indiana saw themselves as one of the most dominant programs in the country and thus saw great players come and go.
Every year it seemed like Indiana was home to the most dominant guard and big man in the Big Ten, helping them to 11 Big Ten titles.
Names like Steve Alford, Calbert Cheaney, Quinn Buckner, Damon Bailey and Isiah Thomas running the backcourt, and Scott May, Alan Henderson, Kent Benson and George McGinnis powered the frontcourt.
