BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Track & Field's incoming freshman Jayden Ulrich was awarded with 2020-21 Gatorade Illinois Girls Track & Field Player of the Year honors this past week.
The award, which recognizes not only outstanding athletic excellence, but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field.
Ulrich boasts a career best of 51' 10.75" in the shot put, 168' 1.75 in the discus and is a three-time 2A state champion. Her marks were good enough to break the state records in both events this past season.
