ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands – Indiana Women's Basketball opened play at the Paradise Jam by knocking off No. 5 South Carolina on Thursday night with a score of, 71-57.
Senior forward and redshirt junior guard led the Hoosiers with 16 points each. 12 of Wise's 16 points came from behind the 3-point line. As a team, Indiana shot 26-52 (50 percent) from the floor and 7-15 (46.7 percent) from behind the arch.
Up next, the Hoosiers will continue play at the Paradise Jam as they will face another ranked opponent in No. 2 Baylor.
