BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University men's basketball team defeated Southern Indiana, 96-62, in an exhibition game on Thursday night at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind.
Freshman scored a game-high 14 points and led six Hoosiers in double figures. Fellow freshmen and Robert Phinisee each had 13 points in the victory, while senior added 12 points. Sophomore had 11 points, while redshirt senior had 10.
Indiana shot 55.6 percent (35-of-63) from the floor in the victory, including 50 percent (11-of-22) from 3-point territory. The Hoosiers limited Southern Indiana to just 36.1 percent (22-of-61) shooting and forced 19 turnovers.
