BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University baseball team clinched the series with Purdue on Sunday afternoon with a 9-5 victory at Bart Kaufman Field in Bloomington, Ind.
With the win, the Hoosiers improve to 9-2 on the season overall and in Big Ten conference play. The Boilermakers fall to 2-9 on the year and in league action.
KEY MOMENTS
• Trailing 2-0, in the bottom of the second inning, INF Jeremy Houston tied the game with a clutch, two-out hit. With the bases loaded, Houston slapped a 3-2 offering through the left side of the infield for a two-run single.
