Over the weekend Bill Armstrong Stadium played host to the Adidas/IU Credit Union Classic as IU men’s soccer took on a pair of ranked opponents.
On Friday the Hoosiers dominated No. 22 Dartmouth to take a 3-0 win and on Sunday they held off No. 18 UConn to win 1-0.
The first game of the weekend opened up with 20 scoreless minutes, but what followed was an offensive explosion. Senior defender Andrew Gutman opened the scoring by deflecting in a free kick taken by senior midfielder Trevor Swartz to give the Hoosiers a lead.
In the second half Gutman was causing trouble for the Big Green again.
