BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University baseball team run-ruled in-state rival Purdue, 17-2, in seven innings on Wednesday afternoon at Bart Kaufman Field in Bloomington, Ind. Before the game, the two head coaches agreed to a 10-run rule after seven innings.
With the victory, the Hoosiers improve to 7-3 on the season, while the Boilermakers fall to 6-5 on the year.
KEY MOMENTS
• After Purdue took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, the Hoosiers responded in a big way in the bottom of the frame.
