Brad Stevens crushed the hopes of Indiana fans yet again on Friday, telling the Field of 68’s Jeff Goodman that’s he’s not a candidate for the Hoosiers’ men’s basketball coaching job and is quite happy with the Boston Celtics.
Stevens is always linked to the job whenever it’s open, which has been relatively often over the past decade or so, and each time he has denied that he’s a candidate to take it. If you’re in charge of making the decision, you owe it to yourself and everyone invested to get that “no” out of one of the best basketball minds on the planet who happens to be from the state.
