ROUND ROCK, Texas – Facing its second top-10 team in three days the Indiana baseball program dropped an 10-0 decision to No. 6 Stanford in seven innings at Dell Diamond in its finale at the Karbach Round Rock Classic.
Stanford (5-1) opened the scoring with two runs in the second inning, before tacking on three runs each in the fourth and fifth innings, and five runs in the sixth. Indiana (1-5) stranded seven on base in the game.
Starting pitcher Reese Sharp (0-1) allowed five runs on six hits over 3 1/3 innings of work in the loss.
