BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – It was a back-and-forth game, but in the end the Indiana baseball program dropped a 17-13 decision to Evansville on Friday (March 25) evening at Bart Kaufman Stadium.
Evansville (8-12) opened the scoring with a run in the top of the first inning and that led to four lead changes in the game. Indiana (8-12) scored two in the bottom of the frame, before UE scored six in the second to retake the lead. Three runs for the Hoosiers in the third was followed by two runs in the fourth to make it all square at 9-9.
