BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Softball picked up an 8-0 five-inning victory against Maryland on Friday evening, capped by an RBI pinch-hit single from freshman Brittany Ford to run-rule the Terrapins.
KEY MOMENTS
• Indiana struck in the opening inning as sophomore Maddie Westmoreland hit a one-out two-run single to right field, plating sophomore Grayson Radcliffe and junior Gabbi Jenkins.
• IU added three more runs in the second as the Hoosiers loaded the bases on a fielding error, single by freshman Tete Hart and a walk to sophomore Taylor Lambert.
