CLEMSON, S.C. – It was a back-and-forth affair on Sunday (Feb. 20) inside Doug Kingsmore Stadium, as the Indiana baseball program dropped a tough, 5-4, decision to Clemson in 10 innings.
Indiana (0-3) took the early lead on a Phillip Glasser home run in the first, but Clemson (3-0) responded with a run in the bottom half of the inning. A single run in the third gave IU a brief lead, before the Tigers scored twice in the bottom of that frame. Two runs in the sixth gave the Hoosiers the lead back, but CU knotted the score with a single run in the seventh.
