BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – 3-seed Indiana posted its largest NCAA Tournament win in school history as it trounced 14-seed Charlotte, 85-51, in the first round on Saturday inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

- Indiana (23-8) got out to a 7-3 lead early but after the 49ers tied the game at 11-all, Indiana opened the game up on a 9-0 run which featured five points from Moore-McNeil on a triple and a fast-break opportunity.
- It helped the IU take a 22-12 lead at the end of the first, including a Berger jumper to beat the clock as time expired on the frame.
