The Indiana Hoosiers continued their hot start to the season by beating the Chicago State Cougars 7-2. The victory capped off a three-game sweep of the Snowbird Baseball Classic and improved the club’s overall win streak to six games.
After a dominant pitching performance by Pauly Milto yesterday, the Hoosiers were hoping for much of the same by Tim Herrin. However, the junior struggled right out of the gates and gave up two quick runs.
The Hoosiers responded immediately with a leadoff home run by Logan Kaletha to cut the deficit in half. Herrin worked a relatively clean second inning but his day was done after just two frames.
