INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana men's basketball team (11-1) held off a furious comeback by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (8-4) to win, 62-60, in the ninth annual Crossroads Classic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman guard Armaan Franklin posted a career-best scoring output of 17 points on 5-of-6 (83.3 percent) from the floor. Franklin knocked down a career-best four 3-point attempts in the win.
Freshman forward Trayce Jackson-Davis netted 14 points (7-of-9 shooting) and seven rebounds, while redshirt junior forward Joey Brunk secured nine points and a career-best 14 rebounds.
