It’s not quite in the spirit of #TopTendiana, but it’ll do.
Indiana has vaulted into the Amway Coaches poll, entering the week ranked No. 19 after knocking off Penn State in an overtime thriller on Saturday.
For IU, Sunday’s debut marks the program’s highest ranking in the coaches poll since Nov. 8, 1993.
This is the second time in as many years that the Hoosiers have jumped into the coaches poll. After starting last season 7-2, IU found itself situated at No. 25 in the coaches rankings during the second week of November. The Hoosiers’ stay in the poll was short-lived, however, as a loss at Penn State knocked them out the following week.
