Tight end Peyton Hendershot has been cleared to fully return to team activities, Indiana coach Tom Allen announced Tuesday.
Hendershot, who was suspended by the football program after his February arrest stemming from a domestic incident, entered a plea agreement last month. According to the Bloomington Herald-Times, Hendershot pleaded guilty to misdemeanor criminal trespass, while three other misdemeanor charges — domestic battery, criminal conversion, and criminal mischief — were all dismissed.
Hendershot was sentenced to one year of probation and required to undergo a mental health evaluation and participate in a batterers treatment program, the newspaper reported.
