FRESNO, Calif. – Junior Erin Harper collected her first career medalist honor shooting 5-under par as Indiana finished second overall at the Fresno State Classic.
Harper went 2-under in Tuesday's final round and tied UC Irvine's Avery Finch with a 211 to finish two strokes over Nishtha Madan of Sacramento State. The Dublin, Ohio native shot a 70 in the final round to go along with a 70 and 71 as her 211 is tied for the third-best three round individual performance in school history (Shannon Johnson, 2006). Harper carded four more birdies to add to her total of 12 in the tournament.
